1st Logo (Late 70s-Mid 80s)

Standard variants:

In-credit variants:

Nicknames: "Mickey the Graduate", "Radar Globe Mickey", "Graduate Mickey Head"

Logo: Basically just the WDEMC logo of the time, either presented over a randomized background or superimposed over the opening credits. The logo featured a yellow Mickey head on the top, but styled like a radar globe and is wearing a graduation cap. Below that is the company name in yellow, styled like this:

WALT DiSNEY

EDUCATIONAL

MEDIA COMPANY

Presents

Variants: The logo may be featured in different colors, or in-credit.

FX/SFX: None. It's a still logo.

Music/Sounds: None or the opening theme.

Availability: It can range from uncommon to very rare. Most WDEMC releases are in film reels, which can be only played through projectors. Some of the films are still shown in schools.

Scare Factor: None. It's a clean logo.

2nd Logo(Mid 80s)

Nicknames: "Mickey the Graduate II", "Radar Globe Mickey II", "Graduate Mickey Head II"

Logo: An animated version of the previous logo. Starts with the Mickey head from the previous logo, tilted upwards, zooming to the top of thescreen. It tilts downwards, and "WALT DiSNEY" in black with a bluish glow and in its usual corporate font writes itself onscreen. While this, the Mickey head glows and turning metallic. After the writing, "EDUCATIONAL MEDIA COMPANY Presents" (written exactly like the previous logo but in a different font) wipes onto the screen via 'sparkle' effect. The remainder of the logo has the entire logo shining.

FX/SFX: The zooming, writing and shining of the logo.

Music/Sounds: A twinkling xylophone theme when the logo forms. When the company name writes itself, an 8-note horn fanfare plays throughout. This ends with twinkling sounds and a majestic sounder.

Music/Sounds Variant(s): Sometimes, it's the opening theme of the film.

Availability: Near extinction. It was only used in a handful of films. When the 1980s Disney Educational Productions logo was introduced, this logo was used in tandem with it. Around the late 80s this logo was dropped and replaced by said Disney Educational Productions logo.

Scare Factor: Low. The dark environment as well as the music may give you the creeps, but it's a very harmless logo to many.
