Background: The Kennedy/Marshall Company was founded in 1991 by husband and wife producers Kathleen Kennedy and Frank Marshall. No logo was used until 1994, with the release of Milk Money.

1st Logo (August 31, 1994-December 23, 2005)

Nickname: "The Lighting"

Logo: The objects, similar to the improvised "K" and "M" letters, are revealed by the light. While they shine, the words collapse from various directions, reading "THE KENNEDY/MARSHALL COMPANY". The logo continue to shine until it fades out.

  • There are at least two color variants, blue and green.
  • The trailer for Milk Money had small objects behind the name.
  • The white colored name, without background figures, appeared on Congo: Descent Into Zinj for the PC. Another game, Indian in the Cupboard, had it in red color with blue outline.

FX/SFX: The shining picture.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen at the end of films from the company from the era, such as Congo, The Bourne Identity, Milk Money, The Sixth Sense, and The Bourne Supremacy.

Scare Factor: None.

2nd Logo (May 5, 2006- )

Nickname: "Sliding Stripes"

Logo: Several filmstrips move across the screen vertically. One of them reveal these words lowercase, reading "the kennedy/marshall company". Another one continues to slide left to the words, until stopping mid-frame.

Variant: There is also a still version of the logo.

FX/SFX: Moving filmstrips. Way better than before.

Music/Sounds: The ending theme of the movie. When this logo originally appeared on the company's website, it used a faint guitar theme.

Availability: Seen on post-2006 films from the company, such as The Bourne UltimatumThe Spiderwick Chronicles, and the wildly infamous Last Airbender. The still version was seen on Crossing OverWar Horse, and Lincoln. However, the print logo is still the 1994-2005 logo.

Scare Factor: Low.
