Nicknames: "The Three Gorillas", "Three Wise Monkeys", "Speak No Evil, Hear No Evil, See No Evil", "The Gorilla Trio"
Logo: On a white background, we zoom out to see three gorillas sitting together, who then cover parts of their face: the left one is covering the mouth, the middle one is covering its ears, and the right one is covering the eyes (obviously, this represents the famous monkey trio of "Speak no Evil", "Hear no Evil", and "See no Evil"). It then pans out upward, and:
appears above the gorillas, but misaligned. Then the right gorilla raises his right hand to straighten the name, then covers its eyes again.
Variant: There is a longer variant where we see the right gorilla on the right, then the left gorilla comes in walking from the left, then the middle gorilla comes in from the top of the screen hanging. Then he sits down. Then they proceed into the logo described above.
FX/SFX: The motion of the gorillas.
Music/Sounds: Some jungle sounds in the background, then a "creak" sound as the right gorilla aligns the name.
Music/Sounds Variant: On The Munsters' Scary Little Christmas, it's the finishing of the ending theme.
Availability: Has been seen on The Lost World, S3-6 of Dream On, and Weird Science: The Series. It was seen on reruns of Sliders and 'Honey, I Shrunk The Kids: The TV Show' on The Hub (now Discovery Family). The first second is usually cut off, and the complete version is only known to exist on Dream On. The longer variant was last seen on Here Come the Munsters on HBO Family. However, it is preserved on seasons 1-2 DVDs of Weird Science: The Series.
Scare Factor: Minimal. The jungle sounds and the creak may get to a few.
