1st Logo (1956-1965)
Logo: We pan from a tower enlightened by multiple spotlights. The panning stops when we see a sign with the company name written like this:
SOTOMAYOR. S. A.
Later, a spotlight appears illuminating the text.
FX/SFX: The panning and spotlights. It's completely live-action.
Music/Sounds: A bombastic fanfare of trumpets led by a drum and a cymbal.
Availability: It can be seen on some old films like-Camino de la horca, Ando volando bajo, Muertos de risa-or Calibre 44. All of them can be found on YouTube.
Scare Factor: Medium because of the bombastic sounds.
Logo: The logo starts with a close-up of a glowing neon tower. Suddenly we zoom out from the tower to reveal two signs on the bottom. The first sign reads "PRODUCCIONES" with "PRE" underneath, and the other reads "SOTOMAYOR" with "SENTA" underneath it. Together, they read:
FX/SFX: The zooming and the light effects. Like before, this logo is live-action.
Music/Sounds: Similar as the 1st logo, with a different ending (similar to the Fox fanfare). In La edad de la violencia, the logo is silent.
Availability: Seen on films like-La edad de la violencia,Un par de sinvergüenzas. All them have been watched on YouTube.
Scare Factor: Medium, the zooming may unnerve some.
