Logo captures by V of Doom and Derrick Anderson

Video capture courtesy of Eric S.

Background: Vision pdg (or "Vision International"), was founded in 1987 by Jon Peters, Peter Guber (founders of "The Guber-Peters Company"), and Mark Damon (founder of "Producers Sales Organization"). The initials of the founders' surnames made up the "pdg" in the company's name. Vision was sold to Crédit Lyonnais Bank in 1993. Quickly afterwards, Mark Damon founded the company MDP Worldwide.

1st Logo (1988-1990?)[]

Nickname: "Crystal V in Space"

Logo: On a space background, we see a 3D crystal V (which looks like a upside-down triangle) moving down while the words "VISION" (with the V more bigger than the other letters) fade in piece-by-piece. The crystal V stops when it gets closer to the other V, and "INTERNATIONAL" (placed at the right of the other V) slides in.

FX/SFX: The crystal V moving, the words fading.

Music/Sounds: A THX-like ascending synth note with a choir stinger.

Availability: Rare. Found on the VHS release of High Spirits. Can also be seen on the international trailer of Mac and Me, which in turn can be viewed on the original UK VHS of They Live.

Scare Factor: Medium. The music and darkness can get to some, and the scare factor can get higher for people with THXphobia.

2nd Logo (1990-1994)[]

Nicknames: "Blue V", "Blue Vision"

Logo: On a blue background, we see the same diamond and text from before. "INTERNATIONAL" slides in from the V.

Variant: A still variant exists.

FX/SFX: The text sliding out.

Music/Sounds: None, although sometimes there will be music.

Availability: Rare. Seen on The Gate II: Trespassers and Mr. Write. The still variant can be found on Almost Pregnant.

Scare Factor: None.
