Background: Cruel and Unusual Films, Inc. is an American production company that was established in 2004 by filmmaker Zack Snyder, his wife Deborah Snyder, and their producing partner Wesley Coller.

Logo: Superimposed at the end of the closing credits sequence, the logo, which consists of a picture of a girl with a sword in her hand with the words:


with "CRUEL" & "UNUSUAL" in white and "AND" & "FILMS" in a white outline, fades in.

Variant: At the end of 300: Rise of an Empire, the logo is horizontally-arranged with the picture at the left and the text (in a line) at the right.

FX/SFX: The closing credits' background

Music/Sounds: None, due to the memories within the ending to the main-on-end credits. The variant has the closing theme playing over it.

Availability: The normal version is seen only at the end of Sucker Punch.

Logo: Similar to the 300:RoaE version of the previous logo, but it is vertically-arranged with the picture at the top and the text at the bottom.

Music/Sounds Variants:

  • At the end of Wonder Woman, the ending of the closing credits music that continues from the Atlas Entertainment logo carries into this logo and ends over the Warner Bros. Pictures closing logo.
  • At the end of Justice League (2017 version), the closing stinger from the post-credit scene's last shot that continues from the AE logo ends over it.
