Bahrain

Bahrain officially the Kingdom of Bahrain (Arabic: مملكة البحرين‎ About this sound Mamlakat al-Baḥrayn), is an Arab constitutional monarchy in the Persian Gulf. It is an island country consisting of a small archipelago centered around Bahrain Island, situated between the Qatar peninsula and the north eastern coast of Saudi Arabia, to which it is connected by the 25 km (16 mi) King Fahd Causeway. Bahrain's population is 1,234,571 (c. 2010), including 666,172 non-nationals. It is 780 km2 in size, making it the third smallest nation in Asia after the Maldives and Singapore.

البحرين رسميا مملكة البحرين (مملكة البحرين حول هذا الصوت ملك البحرين)، هي ملكية دستورية عربية في الخليج الفارسي. وهي دولة جزرية تتكون من أرخبيل صغير متمركز حول جزيرة البحرين، ويقع بين شبه جزيرة قطر والساحل الشمالي الشرقي للمملكة العربية السعودية، ويرتبط به بواسطة جسر الملك فهد الذي يبلغ طوله 25 كم (16 ميل). يبلغ عدد سكان البحرين 1،234،571 نسمة (2010 م)، منهم 666،172 من غير المواطنين. وتبلغ مساحتها 780 كيلومترا مربعا، مما يجعلها ثالث أصغر دولة في آسيا بعد ملديف وسنغافورة.
