CBS Television Distribution is the syndication arm of CBS Studios, Inc. It was founded in August of 2006 when CBS folded its King World and CBS Paramount Domestic Television arms into a new entity. The new syndication company didn't use a logo until August 2007. CBS Television Distribution handles all Paramount, Viacom and all CBS programming for syndication.
CBS Paramount Domestic Television
CBS rebranded Paramount Domestic Television with the CBS name in January 2006 as an interim syndication arm. It was announced in August 2006 that the branch would merge with KingWorld into one big entity. However CPDT would keep its on-screen identity until September 2007.
