Background: Artificial Eye is a British film distributor, specializing in foreign-language and art house films for cinema and home entertainment.

(1990s-2008)[]

Logo: Against a black background, a white circuit resembling the shape of a cybernetic eye fades in. Then, on the bottom of the circuit, the red Artificial Eye logo fades in.

FX/SFX: The fading.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Can be seen on their releases which have the Artificial Eye logo (without the circuit) that have a number tag next to them, i.e. on the side a DVD would have 'Artificial Eye 211 DVD' (which is the DVD release of Solaris) on a green section on the side of the DVD. The rest of it would be grey and black. The packaging is the same for their VHS releases, but there is no number.

(2008- )[]

Logo: The circuits which are now black and white zoom in to the screen. The eye part then pulsates rings at the screen, until it zooms in and fades to the exact same circuit as before, but now the colors are inverted.

Variants: Sometimes the logo would fade in, like before.

FX/SFX: Good looking animation.

Music/Sounds: A gentle piano, guitar and choir tune.

Availability: On their newer releases with packaging like the last logo.
